Humanoids 2023 took place in December 2023. Here is a movie reel of several events that took place:
Dear attendees of Humanoids 2023,
Amidst a year marked by rapid advancements in humanoid technologies and the introduction of groundbreaking platforms, we face the brink of broader real-world applications. The focal theme of our conference, “Research Outcomes for a Growing Application Landscape,” reflects this exciting moment in our field. This year, Humanoids 2023 is marked by a high attendee-to-paper ratio, highlighting the growing interest and active participation in our community. It also marks the inaugural humanoid robotics competition, featuring diverse humanoid robots demonstrating their prowess in walking and navigation tasks. In addition, the conference brings together numerous exhibitors with some of the most innovative companies in the humanoid landscape.
The conference was organized as a 3-day event with workshops and tutorials on the first day, followed by 2 days for the main conference with plenaries, keynotes, oral and interactive sessions, and competitions. We featured 30 papers in single-track oral sessions and an additional 74 papers in interactive sessions. In recognition of outstanding contributions, we handed out various awards, including the best oral and interactive papers, the Mike Stillman Award, and the Kanako Miura Award In addition, multiple competition awards were handed out for 1st and 2nd placements in the various categories of walking and navigation competitions.
Following the warm spirit of Texas, we say, “See y’all!”
Sincerely,
The General Chair of Humanoids 2023
