Instructions for Authors Presenting in Oral Sessions (Talks)
Oral Sessions will consist of five presentations, each of which is allocated a 10-minute slot. This includes 8 min for your presentation and 2 minutes for questions. Please do your best to not exceed these times.
There are six different Oral Sessions organized by topics in the Humanoids 2023 conference. You can find out in the detailed program on PaperPlaza which session your paper has been assigned to and what the presentation order in that session will be.
All oral sessions take place in the Mulva Auditorium. Please note that some of them follow immediately after a Plenary presentation without any break in between.
Presentations can be prepared using your own favorite style and program. We only ask you to include a logo of this year’s Humanoids conference on the title page of your presentation (available for download on the webpage).
You will have to present from your own laptop. Have your presentation open and ready when you walk up the stage. Please also make sure that you check the compatibility of your laptop with the projector prior to your session.
Instructions for Authors Presenting in Interactive Sessions (Posters)
Interactive Sessions will consist of presentations of paper posters during sessions of 1 hour in length. There are 18-19 posters presented in parallel.
There are four different Interactive Sessions in the Humanoids conference. You can find out in the Detailed Program on PaperPlaza which Session your paper has been assigned to.
Posters should be prepared in Portrait format up to 45 inches high and 37 inches wide. This corresponds approximately to European A0 size (118 cm x 89 cm, which is a bit longer, but it is possible to have the poster exceed the lower boundary a bit).
Posters can be prepared using your own favorite style and program. We only ask you to include a logo of this year’s Humanoids conference in the header of your poster (available for download on the webpage).
You will have to print out the posters and bring them with you; there is no printing facility on site.
You will be allocated a specific poster board in the poster hall for your session. Please put up your poster there prior to the start of the session and take it down afterward, since the space will be needed for a presenter in the next session.
There are unfortunately no tables in the poster area, so you should not plan to use a laptop next to your poster. Of course, you are free to bring any device/tablet that you can hold in your hand during the entire time of the session if you want to be able to show videos etc.
There are no teaser presentations. All presentations are announced in the program on Paper Plaza and in the summary with their respective digest slide.
